How do I get to Rancho Bernardo Inn?
From LAX (~2 hours)
-405 South to the 5 South to OceanSide. Take Route 78 East to Interstate 15 South at Escondido. Take the Pomerado Road exit, and make a slight right on to Pomerado Road. Turn right at Greens East Road. Follow Signs from there.
From San Diego Airport/Downtown (~35 minutes)
-Take Harbor Drive South (toward downtown) and turn left at Grape Street. Go east to the top of the hill then take Interstate 5 South. Stay in the right lane and follow 163 North toward Escondido. Take the Rancho Bernardo Road exit east to Pomerado Road (5th light). Turn left at Pomerado Road. Turn Left at Greens East Road (1st light). Follow signs from there.
Which airport is closest to Rancho Bernardo Inn?
San Diego Airport is approximately 35 minutes away.
Do you offer shuttle services to and from the airport?
Our southern California resort does offer transportation services. We do have town car arrangements that can be made however it is not complimentary and needs to be reserved in advance. If guests would like to inquire about setting up transportation they can email RBItransportation@jcresorts.com or call the concierge at 858.675.8487.
The $19 INNclusive plan provides complimentary shuttle service within 5 miles of the resort, based on availability.
What are check-in and check-out times?
We guarantee that you will be able to check in at 4 p.m. Check out is at 12 p.m.
What do I do if I require early check-in or late check-out?
You may request early check-in and/or late check-out by calling the front desk. However, we cannot guarantee until the day of check-in if the room will be available before 4 p.m. To inquire about your room’s status, please call the front desk. If your room is unavailable when you would like to check in, you may pre-check in with the front desk and start enjoying the property while we hold your luggage.
For late check-out, please call the front desk the day of check out.
What are resort fee charges and what is included in the charges?
Our resort fee charges are $19/night for the INNclusive plan and include:
- Coffee and tea in-room
- Valet parking or self-parking
- Transportation within five miles of the resort
- Daily (Monday – Friday) newspaper
- Fitness Center access
- Toll-free/local calls
- In-room Internet access
- Range balls
- Complimentary Welcome Beverage vouchers (1 per person)
A la Carte Plan:
- $16 parking (Valet or Self)
- $10.95 per 24 hour period for in-room Internet (public spaces remain complimentary)
- $10 Fitness Center
- $4 token for range balls
- $20 each way charge for local transportation (limo transfer rate)

What are your room service hours?
Room service is available 6:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily.
What is Rancho Bernardo Inn’s cancellation policy?
Leisure/Group reservations (unless specified otherwise per group contract) require 72 hours’ notice and Corporate reservations require at least 24 hours’ notice. With the exception of Corporate reservations, we require a first night’s room rate plus tax deposit that are fully refundable on or before the cancellation time frame.
How many rooms are required for a group block and who do I contact about this?
10 rooms or more are required for a group block. Request to speak with Sales/Catering for booking information.
Does the resort offer entertainment at the hotel?
Entertainment is dependent on the time of year.
What is your pet policy?
We allow pets under 25 lbs. and have a non-refundable deep cleaning fee of $100.
Is laundry service available?
We offer laundry service and forms are available in each room to explain pricing and hours of operation.
Do you offer any day rates for rooms and access to the spa and/or pools?
We do not book room day rates in advance, but you can check with the front desk day of. Access to the spa for the day is also based on availability the day of. The charge is $44 per person for spa services.
