El Bizcocho Epilogue: To prepare for the impending closure, remodel and renaming of the 44-year-old restaurant at Rancho Bernardo Inn later this summer, chefs from the restaurant’s past, including Gavin Kaysen from Cafe Boulud and Tom Dowling and Nicolas Bour of JC Resorts, will create a five-course menu featuring dishes celebrating El Bizcocho’s culinary past at a gourmet farewell dinner at 6 June 7. Tickets are $225 (or $275 with wine pairings). Reserve to 858-675-8550. Proceeds will benefit the Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center in National City.
