Brooke is a former tenth grade English teacher from San Diego turned breathwork enthusiast. While living in Venice Beach, she discovered breathwork and its incredible healing and transformative powers. I am new to yoga, is that okay?
YES! All levels are welcome. Whether you are new to yoga or experienced in your practice, this retreat is an incredible way to immerse yourself. One of our goals is to introduce you to different styles of asana (physical postures), experiment with various forms of meditation, and discover how to “live your yoga” off the mat.

Is the retreat open to all ages?
Adults of all ages are wholeheartedly welcome. Children are not permitted at this time.

What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is a powerful active meditation designed to improve mental, physical and spiritual well-being. Together we will go on a journey, set to an inspiring playlist, to clear mental and physical blocks and manifest for our future. All you have to do is breathe.

Is it okay to attend a retreat alone?
YES! This retreat is all about YOU. Whether you’d like to attend with friends or family or simply want time alone, make this time about you and do it your way.

Are the classes outside or inside?
All activities with the exception of Breathwork and Sound Healing will be held outside. The two indoor activities will take place in the Aragon Ballroom, a 10,000 sq. ft. space with 20 ft. ceilings. Each attendee will have a 12ft radius to ensure social distancing. All ballroom doors that lead to the outdoor terrace will also remain open.

What should I bring to the retreat?
You’ll want to be cozy for the sound immersion and breathwork classes. Be sure to bring a blanket, sweater, socks or any other layers that make you feel comfortable. We also ask that each guest bring their own yoga mat. San Diego’s Fall season brings warm days but cool evenings so be sure to pack accordingly!

Do I have to attend every class/workshop?
You are welcome to attend, or not attend, anything you’d like! Attendance is not mandatory at any of the scheduled events.

Do I have to wear a face covering the entire time?
Face coverings are required as you travel throughout the resort. You may remove your mask when you arrive and are seated at your destination (i.e. yoga mat, dining table, poolside lounger, etc.).

Is food included?
Food is not included in the package; however, guests will find an array of dining options throughout the resort with convenient to-go and in-room delivery service.  Restaurants are also open daily for outdoor dining.

Are dining reservations required?
Yes! Online reservations are required at our Veranda and AVANT restaurants. Both restaurants are known to sell out on the weekends so 72-hour advanced reservations are strongly recommended.

Are reservations required at the resort pools?
Yes! Our resort has 3 beautiful pools: The Spa Pool, The Bernardo Pool (Adults Only), and The Santiago Pool (all ages). The Spa Pool is available to guests who have booked a Spa Treatment. (We highly recommend you make an appointment and spend your Sunday after check out at The Spa!) To ensure social distancing and sanitation protocols, The Bernardo and Santiago Pools are open to resort guests for 2 hour time slots, Friday - Sunday. You can book your time slot at the Front Desk one day in advance.
