Fall is a spectacular time of year

Hi there!

Welcome to Rancho Bernardo Inn, where we’re all looking forward to some tricks & treats this fall. As Director of Culinary Operations, I have the inside story on all of the exciting events happening here this season, and wanted to take a moment to share those with you. This October, Halloween at the Inn will take over the resort, where the kids will enjoy a Haunted House, decorating pumpkins, and snacking on street tacos and pizza, while Mom & Dad can sip on Glow-in-the-Dark cocktails. This weekend will be fun for the whole family (and who doesn’t love indulging in a good old-fashioned caramel apple).

Over at AVANT, we have some special courses on the horizon this fall, including one that will be kicking off San Diego’s Beer Week. Although I myself prefer a good vintage wine, I have to say I’m looking forward to AVANT’S Beer vs. Beer dinner this November, which will pit two breweries against each other in a savory menu pair-off. AND, if all of this excitement has gotten to you and now you’re just after complete relaxation, the AVANT + Spa package will do just the trick. This package offers a signature RBI experience with a choice of facial or massage at our award-winning Spa followed by a 2-course dinner at AVANT – perfect combination of treats and eats.
