Discover the true harmony of food and wine in this interactive tasting experience with Sommelier and Cellar Master Joe Baumgardner. Guests are guided through deductive tasting lessons and will enjoy wines of the world with their quintessential food partner, both classic and surprising. Learn the history and science behind what makes these pairings magic.
Guests will enjoy 5 wines. 4 will be paired with a “Classic” pairing provided by Chef Sergio Jimenez.
1. Wine will be paired with a “Surprise” pairing that might seem out of place until it is experienced. Welcome glass of wine and deductive tasting exercise.
2. Perfect Pairing: Each wine is paired with a tasting portion of a dish to compliment and learn the chemistry behind the pairing.
3. Takeaway: “Avant Perfect Pairings Guide” and bespoke tasting notes of the wines sampled.
