How do I get to Rancho Bernardo Inn? 

From LAX (~2 hours)
-405 South to the 5 South to Oceanside. Take Route 78 East to Interstate 15 South at Escondido. Take the Pomerado Road exit, and make a slight right on to Pomerado Road. Turn right at Greens East Road. Follow Signs from there.

From San Diego Airport/Downtown (~35 minutes) 
-Take Harbor Drive South (toward downtown) and turn left at Grape Street. Go east to the top of the hill then take Interstate 5 South. Stay in the right lane and follow 163 North toward Escondido. Take the Rancho Bernardo Road exit east to Pomerado Road (5th light). Turn left at Pomerado Road. Turn left at Greens East Road (1st light). Follow signs from there.

San Diego Airport is approximately 35 minutes away.


What are check-in and check-out times?

We guarantee that you will be able to check-in at 4 p.m. Check out is at 11 am.


What do I do if I require early check-in or late check-out?

You may request early check-in and/or late check-out by calling the front desk. However, we cannot guarantee until the day of check-in if the room will be available before 4 p.m. To inquire about your room’s status, please call the front desk. If your room is unavailable when you would like to check-in, you may pre-check-in with the front desk and start enjoying the property while we hold your luggage.

For late check-out, please call the front desk the day of check out.


What fees are associated with my room?

We've worked to bundle a number of resort services and activities into one simple $29 daily charge, rather than burden guests with multiple inconvenient charges. It includes:

There are loads of great things in the rooms. • Mini bar/refrigerator • Hair dryer • Plasma TV • iPod docking station • DVD player • Wi-Fi or wired Internet access • Microwave (on request) • Cribs and rollaway beds available upon request • Iron with ironing board • In-room safe. Do you have rollaway beds or cribs? Yes, just let us know when you book your room. Can I have a party in my room? No, but as long as you're quiet and aren't bothering anyone, we probably won't notice. Can I smoke in my room? No, if you do, we'll charge you $250. Can I vape in my room? That's smoking... That's totally different No it's not. What about pot? That's smoking, too... What about on my patio? Or on the balcony? Nope, not there either. 


 What are your room service hours?

Room service is available 6:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily.


What is Rancho Bernardo Inn’s cancellation policy?

If you need to reschedule or cancel your reservation, the standard policy requires cancellation 72 hours prior to your arrival date in order to avoid being charged the one night’s room and tax deposit taken at the time of booking.  Special rates and/or packages might have a different cancellation policy.  Please reference your confirmation email for specifics.  One notable and common exception to the 72 hour prior cancellation policy is an Advance Purchase rate.  Should you elect for this option, your credit card will be charged for the full stay and will be non-refundable.  


How many rooms are required for a group block and who do I contact about this?

Does the resort offer entertainment?

What is your pet policy?

We allow dogs under 30 lbs. and have a non-refundable deep cleaning fee of $100.


Is laundry service available?

We offer laundry service and forms are available in each room to explain pricing and hours of operation.


Do you offer any day rates for rooms and access to the spa and/or pools?

We do not book room day rates in advance, but you can check with the front desk day of. Access to the spa for the day is also based on availability the day of.

Cabanas are available to rent for both half or full days:

Weekdays, Monday - Thursday | $85 half day* or $140 full day
Weekends, Friday - Sunday | $100 half day* or $155 full day

Spa treatments &/or day passes are required for all guests to book a spa cabana. Day passes are available Monday - Thursday. 

*Half day rentals are available from 9am-1pm and 2pm-6pm. Amenities include iced water, towels, and poolside service.
