YOUR SAFETY AND WELLBEING IS OUR PRIORITY
We have always taken great pride in delivering the highest standards in cleanliness and hygiene. We’ve supplemented those practices with a comprehensive system of enhanced health and safety protocols based on the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control, the California Department of Public Health and the California Hotel & Lodging Association. We have also implemented the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Stay Safe industry-wide initiative, developed under the guidance of an Advisory Council, comprised of industry leaders representing all segments of the hotel industry, and in conjunction with public health experts to advance best practices for protecting-against the coronavirus. Our rigorous, ongoing training program ensures a clean, safe and healthy environment throughout the resort for our valued guests and employees.
As government and health officials release new guidelines on hygienic and social distancing practices, we will adapt our own protocols with an abundance of caution for the safety of both our guests and our employees.

How do I get to Rancho Bernardo Inn?
From LAX (~2 hours)
Take 405 South to the 5 South to Oceanside. Take Route 78 East to Interstate 15 South at Escondido. Take the Pomerado Road exit and make a slight right on to Pomerado Road. Turn right at Greens East Road. Follow Signs from there.
From San Diego Airport/Downtown (~35 minutes)
Take Harbor Drive South (toward downtown) and turn left at Grape Street. Go east to the top of the hill then take Interstate 5 South. Stay in the right lane and follow 163 North toward Escondido. Take the Rancho Bernardo Road exit east to Pomerado Road (5th light). Turn left at Pomerado Road. Turn left at Greens East Road (1st light). Follow signs from there.
Which airport is closest to Rancho Bernardo Inn?
San Diego Airport is approximately 35 minutes away.
What are check-in and check-out times?
We guarantee that you will be able to check-in at 4 p.m. Check-out is at 11 a.m.
What do I do if I require early check-in or late check-out?
You may request early check-in and/or late check-out by calling the front desk. However, we cannot guarantee that the room will be available before 4 p.m. until the day of check-in. To inquire about your room’s status, please call the front desk. If your room is unavailable when you would like to check-in, you may pre-check-in with the front desk and start enjoying the property while we hold your luggage. For late check-out, please call the front desk the day of check out.
Please note, we currently have special protocols in place for arrivals and departures to ensure the safety of guests and colleagues.
What fees are associated with my room?
Under regular operations, a $29 daily resort fee is applied to each hotel reservation and includes amenities and services designed to enhance your experience at Rancho Bernardo Inn. We are currently waiving the resort fee for all bookings made by August 31, 2020, for any future stay as some services are temporarily limited in order to reflect safety and social distancing guidelines set forth by the California Department of Public Health. Under normal operations, once resumed, our amenities provided by the resort fee include:

What are your parking options and fees?
We are currently waiving self parking fees for all bookings made by August 31, 2020, for any future stay. Valet service is temporarily suspended. When we are able to resume full services a $30 overnight fee applies for self parking and $35 overnight fee for valet parking.
Do you offer shipping services?
Shipping services are available with shipping & handling fee of $5 per package.
What amenities are included with your rooms?
We are proud to offer a variety of in-room amenities under normal operating circumstances including those listed below. Some amenities may be temporarily suspended or provided on request only due to COVID-19 health and safety guidelines.

Do you have rollaway beds or cribs?
Yes, we just ask that you inform us of your request when you book your room.
Can I have a party in my room?
No, but as long as you're quiet and aren't bothering anyone, we probably won't notice.
Can I smoke in my room?
Rooms and suites are non-smoking. If there is evidence of the smoking of any substance in your non-smoking accommodation, you will incur a fee of $250. Please note that e-cigs, vapors, hookahs, marijuana, etc. fall under our non-smoking policy.
What are your room service hours?
Room service is available 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily.
What is Rancho Bernardo Inn’s cancellation policy?
Currently—and until further notice—we ask for 24-hour notice of cancellation for full refund or rebooking for all individual reservations.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your reservation, the standard policy requires cancellation 72 hours prior to your arrival date in order to avoid being charged the one night’s room and tax deposit taken at the time of booking. Special rates and/or packages might have a different cancellation policy. Please reference your confirmation email for specifics. One notable and common exception to the 72-hour prior cancellation policy is an Advance Purchase rate. Should you elect for this option when available, your credit card will be charged for the full stay and will be non-refundable.
How many rooms are required for a group block and who do I contact about this?

Does the resort offer entertainment?
Currently our entertainment schedule is temporarily paused until we can safely resume our seasonal schedule.
Under normal operations, entertainment varies given the time of year, but live music is a hallmark at the Inn. Check out the latest schedule information here.
What is your pet policy?
We know dogs are part of your family and we welcome those under 30 lbs. with a non-refundable $100 deep-cleaning fee.
Is laundry service available?
We offer laundry service. Please contact guest services for pricing and hours of operation if you do not find a form in your room.
